Position:
Facing W, backed by pine-covered hills.

Description:
A rambling spread-out resort with no identifiable village centre, built mainly on a sloping pine-covered cliff leading down to the beach. Buildings consist of private villas in prime clifftop locations with mixture of club hotels, apartment blocks and timeshare units around the area.

Suitability:
Middle to economy. A family-orientated resort. Mixed British and German clientele.

Accommodation:
Predomination of 3-star club hotels, followed by private apartment developments and two timeshare developments. There are no "ordinary" hotels of any classification.

Shopping:
Some 5 supermarkets plus souvenir, press and butcher's shop.

Beach:
Fine sandy beach, some 75 yards wide in places with rocky outcrop in centre.

Entertainments:
Daytime: various water sports including windsurfing, snorkelling, pedalloes. Tennis, minigolf, squash, volleyball, country walks, boat trips. Nightlife: only one disco in resort. Otherwise music in some bars. Nearest active nightlife is in San Antonio resort centre.

Eating:
A dozen assorted restaurants/snack bars serving mainly typical Spanish dishes plus pizzas and hamburgers. One gourmet establishment.

Public-transport:
9 buses per day to San Antonio, 5 onwards to Ibiza. Several stops spread around the resort. Taxis can be called by phone.
