Position:
Along a narrow, winding road, part way along a pine-clad headland, with an E-facing cove.
Description:
After climbing from Paguera, the road clings to the side of the slope, passing through villa developments, then descends to a fishermen's inlet before reaching an idyllic cove around which a clutch of hotels and a few private houses have grown.
Suitability:
This quiet haven appeals to seclusion seekers and country walkers.
Accommodation:
Two good hotels, the rest is apartments, many of them privately owned.
Shopping:
Apart from a minimarket half way, the nearest shops are 1» miles, on the edge of Paguera.
Beach:
The cove is picturesque but very small, especially for the potential numbers during peak periods. Patches of sand alternate with rocks; a few small fishing boats lie at anchor. The bay is enclosed by opposing headlands.
Entertainments:
Daytime: sun, beach or admire the view! Nightlife: infrequently provided by the hotels.
Eating:
Hotels practically the only option.
