Occupies a low headland between two coves.

Description:
Private estate comprises hotels and villas, laid out with fastidious regularity along well-ordered estate roads. Plenty of landscaping but overall the effect is characterless and dull.

Suitability:
Tends to appeal to a mid to upmarket clientele who enjoy the sense of order and organisation, not normally associated with this part of the world.

Accommodation:
Hotels, apartments and villas in equal measure.

Shopping:
Holiday needs are served by a couple of supermarkets, souvenir and car hire shops.

Beach:
None. There is a lido-like cove with rock bathing and furnished terraces of imported sand by the pool in front of Hotel S'Algar.

Entertainments:
Daytime: windsurfing and diving at the lido; sports club with tennis, football, bowling, minigolf, gym and sauna. Diving school. Nightlife: is limited to the hotels and a karaoke bar; a disco opens only in the peak season.

Eating:
The few options are predictable and very ordinary.

6 buses to Mahon; free inter-resort shuttle takes in Punta Prima Beach.
