An end-of-the-road village with a reasonably smart modern square with bars. Older nucleus; fishing boats.

Suitability:
Away-from-it-all destination; only aircraft noise for company.

A clutch of middle to lower category lodgings.

Basic provisions.

Beach:
Excellent half-mile crescent of fine, light sand; a second smaller beach to opposite side of village.

Entertainments:
Daytime: windsurfing (the speciality), sailing, diving, fishing, plane spotting. Nightlife: bring your knitting!

Eating:
Small choice of local-style restaurants, bars.

Buses to Playa de las Americas.
