Description:

Binibeca Vell, also known as Pueblo de Pescadores, is a quaint, present-day re-creation of a "typical" fishing village in miniature built around a long sea inlet. Several "urbanizaciones" surround it including Binisafua and Cala Torret.

Suitability:

Has an upmarket tag; not for those requiring organised entertainment.

Accommodation:

Almost exclusively private villas and bungalow apartments.

Shopping:

Very limited.

Beach:

Sandy cove with small beach; second cove with rock bathing and boat moorings.

Entertainments:

Daytime: sports club with tennis courts. Prehistoric monuments in vicinity. Nightlife: very little.

Eating:

A handful of thinly scattered restaurants.

Three daily buses to Mahon.
