Position:
Last in string of resorts on the N coast, furthest from Zakynthos.

Description:
Fairly small resort with very friendly atmosphere. Nearby are neighbouring villages which are very Greek and will give a good insight into the local way of life.

Suitability:
Very family-orientated resort, but also suitable for newly-weds and older couples.

Accommodation:
Self-catering studios and a number of hotels.

Shopping:
A number of tourist shops selling ceramics and "junk" jewellery as well as several minimarkets to stock up on food requirements.

Beach:
One large bay which is split into three sandy beaches, all equally good. Water sports available.

Entertainments:
Daytime: sunbathing, water sports and long walks. Nightlife: discos in the resort centre and a number of bars which are suitable for family evenings or a fun night out.

Eating:
Traditional Greek food and English roasts with Yorkshire puddings.

Public-transport:
There is no taxi rank and if a taxi is called by phone it may be expensive as there is a call-out fee. There is a bus service running into Zakynthos town.
