Position:
Very small resort centred on two large hotel complexes. On a beach backed by hills.

Description:
Mainly used by locals as a weekend retreat to escape Rhodes Town. Accommodation is all very close to sand and shingle beach. Currently a very unspoilt area, but could grow into a much larger resort. Very limited facilities.

Suitability:
Mainly caters for independent travellers and those wishing a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The two hotels offer good family accommodation and facilities.

Accommodation:
Basically only the two large hotels, with a few small family-run pensions.

Shopping:
Limited to one supermarket and small shop in petrol station.

Beach:
Large beach all along resort, sandy at one end, leads to shingle at the other. Sunbeds, umbrellas and small canteen.

Entertainments:
Daytime: limited to that provided in hotels. No sites to visit.

Eating:
Two family-run tavernas situated overlooking beach.

Public-transport:
Only one bus a day to Rhodes Town and other villages on route. None at all after dark.
